报告题目：Modeling of Releases of Sterile Mosquitoes and Interactive Dynamics with Wild Mosquitoes

报告摘要：The sterile insect technique (SIT), in which sterile mosquitoes are released to reduce or eradicate wild mosquitoes, is an effective weapon to prevent transmissions of mosquito-borne diseases. To study the impact of SIT on the disease transmissions, we formulate continuous- or discrete-time mathematical models with homogeneous or stage-structured wild and sterile mosquitoes populations to explore their interactive dynamics. Different releasing strategies are incorporated into the various models and their impacts on the interactive dynamics are investigated and compared.

报告人简介：Jia Li 教授主要从事于动力系统、微分方程、差分方程、数学建模、人口动力学、传染病动力学、数员工态学、数学传染病学及数员工态毒理学等方面的研究，在SCI源期刊上发表论文80余篇，获得多项美国国家科学基金项目，任Mathematical Biology and Engineering、Journal of Biological Dynamics、Annuals of Differential Equations、Journal of Mathematics and Computer Science等杂志的副主编。李佳教授多次组织和参与有关生物数学方面的国际学术会议，在国内外多所高校进行讲学，为生物数学的研究做出了巨大贡献，是国际生物数学领域有重要影响的专家。
