报告摘要:Artificial neural networks are one of the main tools utilized in machine learning. Owing to the excellent computational speed of the current established silicon based super computers, it enables the researchers to develop complicated but efficient algorithms to perform exhaustive and time consuming tasks. For instance, the neural networks and deep learning architectures boost the object recognition systems by searching the patterns and features automatically from the digital data. One of the famous deep structure is Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), as it has been demonstrated its impressive performance in solving computer vision problems. This is due to its superior capability of learning, generalization and interpretation in processing various form of input. In this section, we aim to discover and analyze the basis of the maths behind the construction of CNN.
报告人简介: 颜贻祥, 2011年十月毕业于马来西亚工艺大学,获得数学学士学位。2015年4月毕业于马来西亚工艺大学研究所获得数学博士学位。现为厦门大学马来西亚分校任职助理教授。获颁马来西亚工艺大学第52届毕业典礼的副校监奖(Pro-Chancellor’s award),第52届数学系最佳研究生奖,数枚金牌、铜牌产品研发比赛奖项以及数届马来西亚国内课程奖学金。发表两项国际专利版权以及十余篇学术论文,参与多项校内研究项目。专业是DNA分子计算、形式语言理论以及群论。目前主要研究方向是讯息以及图像视觉处理、数据分析、人工智能应用等。
